Denise Bryer (January 5, 1928-October 16, 2021) was a British voice actress. She was the voice of Commander Makara in the English adaptation of Star Fleet. She first came to public attention in 1957 when she was the voice of Footso in Roberta Leigh's The Adventures of Twizzle. She would then go onto be the voices of Little Jake and Ma Jones in Gerry Anderson's Four Feather Falls in 1959. It seems likely that her early Anderson association was the reason for her being chosen for her role in Star Fleet. Bryer is most well kown as being the voice of Noddy on the eponymous TV show.
After Star Fleet, she would go on to be the voice of Captain Mary Falconer and Zelda in Gerry Anderson's return puppet series Terrahawks.
From 1954 to 1989, Bryer was married to British radio and television personality Nicholas Parsons, who was also the voice of Sheriff Tex Tucker in Four Feather Falls. They divorced in 1989.
Bryer died on 16 October 2021, at the age of 93.
