His first major role in sync was for The High Chaparral.

In the Japanese anime, he dubbed the voices of Hyoga and Shiryu in Saint Seiya. Moreover, when he saw first saw Seiya, François thought the cartoon would not be released because of its violence. Despite this, he seriously invested in the dubbing of the episodes, which earned the voice actors of the French dub of Saint Seiya a real fan club at the time.
