Plot SummaryEdit

XBomberCrewpatch Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Star Fleet Transport Cruisers en route to Pluto with supplies and personnel to rebuild Pluto Base get vaporized in the asteroid belt. EDF HQ is concerned by the contact loss, and deduce that the Alliance has returned. X-Bomber is ordered out to escort the second convoy.

Meanwhile Makara is lying in wait for X-Bomber, which reappears to Orion's surprise, having assumed it too badly damaged to be able to take off so soon. As X-Bomber passes Mars, Lamia ponders her childhood there.

They soon reach the position of the original fleet's last reported position. Alliance carriers suddenly appear from behind nearby asteroids. Dr. Benn orders the Transport cruisers to retreat and that X-Bomber's shields be raised. The ships open fire, but cause no damage. Hercules returns fire with the top mounted guns and eliminates the carriers.

Back on the Imperial Battlecruiser, Makara is angered that X-Bomber has destroyed one of her fleet ships. Orion suggests that they hide the Imperial Cruiser under the Methane Sea so they can ambush the X-Bomber when it comes looking for them.

Dr. Benn deduces that the Alliance must have made a base at Jupiter as the carriers had to have come from somewhere near. As X-Bomber hovers over Pluto, the Imperial Base opens ground to air fire. They are about to return fire, but are ambushed by the Imperial Cruiser from behind. X-Bomber goes evasive to avoid Makara's ship

Dr. Benn sends Shiro, Lee and Hercules off to pilot the Dai-X, whilst he and Lamia stay on board the X-Bomber's control room. Braincom, MainBody and LegTrax, piloted by Shiro, Hercules and Lee respectively, launches. Lee heads in for ground assault in LegTrax while Hercules and Shiro attack from above. While the three pilots attack, X-Bomber is still taking heavy fire from the Base and continues to evade the Imperial Cruiser. Orion and Makara are unconcerned by the Fighters.

The three pilots cannot get a clear shot on the Pluto Base lasers, so Shiro commands that the three ships combine to create the giant robot Dai-X.

The Dai-X is able to stomp through the base, able to destroy it with ease with a combination of firepower, punches and foot stomping. Makara and her bridge crew get perturbed. Orion and Makara are shocked by the appearance of this giant robot. Makara orders a retreat following the destruction of the base. and the Dai-X stands victorious in the ruins of the base. X-Bomber is able to continue on its mission.

  • Commander Makara - "Ha, ha ha! They weave and dance, but they can't escape us!"
